Physics Faculty
Jefferson College is seeking highly qualified and motivated full-time faculty member who is student-centered and committed to innovative teaching, academic advising, institutional service, and community service. The individual selected to join Jefferson College's excellent full-time faculty will demonstrate commitment to assessing and documenting student learning outcomes and using technology in the learning process.
Responsibilities: teach a variety of physics, basic engineering, and physical science courses; may include online, satellite campus, and evening assignments.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Physics and higher education teaching experience required; graduate level work beyond the master's preferred; community college teaching experience preferred.
Position is tenure track; rank and salary commensurate with education, experience, and professional qualifications. Position will begin August 12, 2013.
