Non Tenure Track Position - Visiting Assistant Professor
The University of Scranton invites applications for a one year (renewable for a second year), non-tenure track, leave replacement within the Department of Physics and Electrical Engineering.The successful candidate will assume full time teaching responsibilities beginning in the Fall semester of 2013, and will teach a total of 21 lecture and lab credits per academic year. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching, be engaged in a field of physics research in which undergraduates can participate, and will participate in departmental and university service activities. A doctoral degree in physics or closely related field is required. Demonstrated command of written and spoken English is required. Evidence of successful teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
