Non Tenure Track Position - Visiting Assistant Professor

The University of Scranton invites applications for a one year (renewable for a second year), non-tenure track, leave replacement within the Department of Physics and Electrical Engineering. 
The successful candidate will assume full time teaching responsibilities beginning in the Fall semester of 2013, and will teach a total of 21 lecture and lab credits per academic year.  The successful candidate will have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching, be engaged in a field of physics research in which undergraduates can participate, and will participate in departmental and university service activities.  A doctoral degree in physics or closely related field is required.  Demonstrated command of written and spoken English is required.  Evidence of successful teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
