TT at Mercyhurst College

Mercyhurst College is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Physics beginning in the Fall of 2011. This position requires a Ph.D. in physics or closely related field. Candidates should be committed to high quality teaching and to contributing to the growth of a physics program while establishing an active research program in an undergraduate setting. Teaching responsibilities currently include lecture and laboratory courses, primarily within the introductory physics sequences for a range of major programs within the Science Division. Current research facilities and resources may be most conducive to those with interests in geophysics or theoretical physics, but the position is open to all areas of research.
