TT at Virginia Tech

The Integrative STEM Education Graduate Program in the School of Education at Virginia Tech is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Technology Education/Integrative STEM Education, to begin August of 2011. Primary responsibilities will include conducting research and seeking external funding in Technology Education/Integrative STEM Education, with an expectation of collaboration with faculty in other STEM education disciplines, to teach and advise doctoral and masters students in the Technology Education/Integrative STEM Education program, and to provide service and outreach to the program and School of Education.

Virginia Tech, the Commonwealth’s largest land-grant university with more than 30,000 full-time students, is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The School of Education offers 23 graduate programs to over 1,600 students. The School provides strong support for faculty and graduate students as it seeks to build capacity for excellence in research, teaching, and high-impact outreach, especially in STEM education and leadership.
