TT at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point
Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position to begin in fall 2011. The successful candidate will be expected to: i) teach all levels of undergraduate physics and introductory astronomy, ii) involve students in substantial undergraduate research activities, with preference given to condensed matter physics, and iii) serve the Department and the University through student advising, participation in shared governance, and outreach. Ph.D. in physics or closely related area is required (A.B.D. candidates will be considered). Teaching experience is desirable. Appointment is expected at the assistant professor level. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
