Research fellowship at St. Catharine's College

The Governing Body of St Catharine’s College invites applications from women and men for election to two Research Fellowships, of which up to one may be stipendiary, tenable from 1 October 2011 for three years. The Fellowships are open to graduates of any University who (i) are members of the College, or (ii) not being members of the College, are engaged in research in the Sciences.

Fellowships are intended to support those at an early stage in their academic careers, and will normally be awarded to those who have recently completed their PhD research, or are close to completion. Candidates should not ordinarily have had more than one year of post-doctoral experience, nor have already held a Research Fellowship elsewhere.

Applications for a non-stipendiary award, which will otherwise carry the usual benefits of a Research Fellowship, will be considered from applicants who have already secured externally funded research awards for three years from 1 October 2011.

The closing date for applications is Friday 29 October 2010. Applications should be made via the website http://www.caths.cam.ac.uk/home/ where further particulars are available. Any enquiries should be addressed to the Master's Secretary, St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, CB2 1RL, e-mail: masters.secretary@caths.cam.ac.uk.
