The Division of Information Technology and Sciences at Champlain College seeks an engaged faculty member to teach courses in sciences, including courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Human Biology, and Physics starting August 2011. We are interested in candidates who can work within a team-oriented faculty and with strong project-based curricula. The successful candidate will teach primarily on campus, with some online classes. Responsibilities include primarily undergraduate instruction, course development, faculty mentoring, student advising, industry outreach, and student team project supervision.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Human Sciences or a related field. ABD candidates will be considered with degree completion required before starting July 2011. Industry and/or prior teaching experience is a plus. Rank will be determined based on qualification of the successful candidate.
